Noblesville, Ind. — The Hamilton County Bicentennial Commission has several items available for sale online to celebrate the county’s 200th anniversary. Alongside local partner Marketpro, Inc, the Bicentennial is selling apparel, drinkware, and other items. ANNOUNCING JAN. 22 OPENING CEREMONY PERFORMERS AND SPECIAL GUESTS
Noblesville, Ind. — The stage lineup continues to grow as the Hamilton County Bicentennial Commission kicks off the county’s 200th year celebration with a free, family-friendly event at 3 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 22, at the Palladium at the Center for the Performing Arts in Carmel. Noblesville, Ind. — The Hamilton County Bicentennial Commission has announced the official 2023 Bicentennial event lineup. Upwards of 45 one-of-a-kind events funded by the Bicentennial’s grant program are set to take place over 12 festive months to celebrate the county’s 200th anniversary. HAMILTON COUNTY 2023 BICENTENNIAL OPENS WITH FREE EVENT
Carmel, Ind. — The Hamilton County Bicentennial opens the county’s 200th year with a free, family-friendly event at 3 p.m. Sunday, January 22, 2023, at the Palladium, Center for the Performing Arts in Carmel. Michael Feinstein, artistic director for the Center and founder of the Carmel-based Great American Songbook Foundation, will perform and emcee the program, which will include remarks from local dignitaries and engaging performances by area artistic talent. DUKE ENERGY SPONSORSHIP WILL EXPAND BICENTENNIAL OUTREACH
Noblesville, Ind. — Duke Energy will serve as lead sponsor for Hamilton County’s upcoming 200th anniversary in 2023, the Hamilton County Bicentennial Commission announced. Financial support from the local energy company will provide dozens of grants to local non-profit community organizations to create outreach programs and activities related to the celebration. COMMUNITY MICRO-GRANT APPLICATION INFORMATION ANNOUNCEMENT
Noblesville, Ind. — Grant applications are now available to support public programs in 2023 that celebrate Hamilton County’s upcoming Bicentennial. Grant applications from non-profit organizations are due August 1, 2022, and approximately 25-40 micro-grants of $500 or less will be awarded later this year and distributed in 2023. READ MORE
BICENTENNIAL INFORMATION WORKSHOP SCHEDULED
Noblesville, Ind. — Local organizations interested in learning more about Hamilton County’s 2023 Bicentennial can attend one of three workshops scheduled this winter, both in person and virtually. The Hamilton County Bicentennial Workshops will include information on how to produce a program, how to become an officially sanctioned event, and how to apply for a micro-grant to support events in 2023 among other items. NEW WEBSITE A PORTAL TO HAMILTON COUNTY BICENTENNIAL 2023
Noblesville, Ind. — A new website will serve as an information portal about the upcoming Hamilton County 2023 Bicentennial, according to the Hamilton County Bicentennial Commission. Appointed by the Hamilton County Board of Commissioners, the 11-member Bicentennial Commission oversees the planning, documentation, and execution of the county’s 200th anniversary. READ MORE
