This week on our blog, we're taking a break from our series that puts the spotlight on different townships and their representatives.
Instead, we are going to talk about the newest Bicentennial initiative, community Workshops.
These workshops are an opportunity for the community to come together to learn about the Bicentennial and how different organizations can be involved. Applying to host an official Bicentennial program or event doesn't have to be hard, and the Workshops are here to prove it to you!
Instead of reading through the website to find the information you need, you can come learn from the people who are doing the work to make the Bicentennial happen. If you or an organization you're a part of have thought about creating a Bicentennial program, or even if you have existing programming you're interested in theming to the Bicentennial, Workshops are a great place to start.
As an added benefit, you'll hear from community stakeholders who are poised to support Bicentennial planning during 2022. Check out the schedule below for an (incomplete) list of guest speakers. As we get closer to the events, be sure to keep an eye on the Workshops page on the website and on our social media to see announcements for all speakers.
So why else should you attend a Workshop?
You get to learn about what the Bicentennial involves in depth - including deadlines and benefits
You get to take home detailed information about the Bicentennial
You'll get the chance to learn about our grant program and ask questions
You'll get the chance to pick the brain of the people who will be helping make decisions about Bicentennial programming for your part of Hamilton County.
You'll be inspired to get a jump-start on your 2023 programming or maybe even to start a new initiative!
If this all sounds intriguing, you're in luck! Official sign-ups open TODAY, December 13th, 2021! Seats are limited, so be sure to sign up sooner rather than later! You can sign up here or through the Workshops page (and that's where we'll update when events get full.)
